A Child Within is 7 years old
A Child Within was founded by a dolls' house enthusiast Jean, whose passion for dolls' houses and everything associated with them led to the opening of her shop in Churchtown Village about 7 years ago. Her passion for dolls houses led her to become an artisan making many unique and desirable pieces and she became well known in Churchtown and Southport. At Christmas time last year I was given a dolls house of my very own after many years of waiting, which rekindled my passion for dolls houses and from the moment I walked into Jean's shop and saw the vast array of accessories available to dress my dolls house I was hooked.
I was lucky enough to acquire the business in July 2007 and look forward to creating objects and displays as much as possible with the help of my staff who are also enthusiasts. We aim to provide customers with quality collectibles, hand dressed items and individual pieces and houses from locally sourced artisans together with a friendly efficient service. We will assemble any flat-packed house you choose and are able to offer a lighting and decorating service.
